- Find out about Amphibians in General https://www.dkfindout.com/us/animals-and-nature/amphibians/ (where I got the photo above from).
- Read the book "Amphibians" available at https://www.worldbookonline.
com you can either sign up to discover the username and password, or message me. It's not an individual log-in. For a Welsh book, consider Llyfr Natur Iolo gan Iolo Williams. Available for around £14 from shops such as https://cantamil.com/
- *** Make a Database about amphibians. Use J2data and choose Database. They may need to watch the tutorials on how to create one. Alternatively, use Excel, Access, or a plain old pen and paper.
- Make a pond-dipping net https://www.countryfile.com/how-to/outdoor-skills/how-to-make-a-pond-dipping-net/ If you don't have a coathanger, re-use a plastic pot with the bottom cut off.
- Go Pond Dipping (TAKE CARE AROUND WATER!) and Record what you find in the Big Pond Dip Count how many types of creature you find. Make a Pie Chart to show this (Use J2data or Excel)
- Learn about the life cycle of a frog (metamorphosis) and re-create it out of clay

- *** Look at the Artist Brendan Fahy's work and try to paint your own picture using his signature style of bright, bold colours and sweeping brushstrokes
- Make a magnetic fishing game about pond dipping. Instead of just fish, use frogs, newts and whatever else you find in a pond!

- ***Watch Disney's the Princess and the Frog or read the fairy tale. Make an 8 box cartoon to summarise the story.

- Watch The Wind in The Willows Live Theatre Production on https://www.willowsmusical.com/ Use as many adjectives as you can to describe the personality of each of the animals. Discuss anthropomorphosis (giving human feelings to non-human creatures). Which animal do you think you'd be?
